Nobody said it would be easy

Scientific studies have proven that campaigns like ours are more likely to influence the already low-risk parents and make them yet lower-risk. This is good. However, the high-risk parents are less likely to be influenced to change and more likely to believe they are unable to change, according to research. This is an injustice to the teens that need help the most.

We recognize that the parents of low-risk teens are most likely to adopt our guidance. But if your child is in the high-risk category, we recognize your unique challenges, however, we ask that you do not give up. Your teen deserves better; don’t shortchange him.

If your child is high-risk or you are skeptical of your ability to change, try anyway. What do you have to lose? There is no downside. All we can do to lower the risk of high-risk teens is try – and that’s all we ask of you.
